Sans Nod

I've said it before and I'll say it again:

8 is Great. 8 is my favorite distance lately. I just love it. It makes me sweaty, but no bits hurt afterwards. I just love love love it. I didn't bring Big G, but I think I made good time.

So, anyway, I was almost done with my run, about 4 blocks from my house when Mark McGrath ran by. Yep, he's a runner. (It's times like this that I think of Marcy and her camera-toting runs.) I think I even read somewhere (NOT that I read about him on purpose) that he was on the track team. He grew up around here (and still lives around here), that's the only reason I know. But, get this... I gave him "the nod" and he didn't nod back. Apparently, he doesn't read my blog and know that I have like 50 readers who will hear about this!
RUNNERS NOD, MARK. RUNNERS NOD!

I'm off to a Pool Par-Tay~ Peace.

OH... and the Secret TOTALLY worked yesterday, my boss closed the office early enough for me to make the 2:30 Yoga, so I had time to get a pedicure after. See... it works and/or I'm just one lucky sun-of-a-gun.

  1. I wonder if he's just scared of the nod. Especially from chicks that could quite possibly out run him, tackle him, and completely redefine the term "positive splits" for all posterity.

  2. I think it may be a combo pack: the Secret works and you're a lucky son-of-a-gun. Enjoy the pool party!

  3. My celebrity stalking self can barely contain myself right now. I would have had to start chasing.

  4. That was very rude of him not to nod. Even if you don't like to nod, what about a little wave? something?

  11. No NOD? Dang. Although if you read the comments, he probably is afraid of what happens if he does nod. Chicks thinking it's an invitation to chase, tackle, lick, etc. hee hee

  12. Maybe all the stars are scared of stalkers now because of the Uma Thurman case. :-)

  14. I think it's a celebrity thing. Megan Ryan was the same way when I "ran into" her a few years ago in Central Park. They just can't relate to us little people.

  18. LMAO at Nancy.... I agree. Here, I say Hi, if I'm passing right by another runner, or I wave or nod if the runner is on the other side of the road.

No nod. Bummer, I thought he'd be a cool person... maybe.
