- 2 miles of a nice warm up on my normal route.
- Then I took a detour to get to my "hill." I came, I saw, I conquered it. TWICE! It was about .3 miles up, then .3 down. I would have gone another time but I thought of Danielle's advice to take it easy and not get an injury my first time hill training.
- 2 miles back.

I wish I had put on the heart rate monitor. The first time up, I felt it beating. But the second time, not as much.
There's a bigger hill that's next on my list and that bitch is mine!
I'm off now for a delisioso ensalada and to watch The Darjeeling Limited on dvd. So excited. Been wanting to see this movie. I heart Jason Schwartzman. Wierd, huh? Like, I really like him. I would totally make out with him.
I'll post my next work trip next week. I promise.
Way to start off the month of March with a nice job on the hill work... and speedy too! Hills can ben fun and a nice change of scenery... hahaha, get it?!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your Saturday!
Great job! I did a hill today too..first time ever! Wasn't so bad but yes I could feel my heart beating as well. Also I ran real slow for a lil while after it!

ReplyDeleteAlrighty then. Sounds like you're back!! Nice work.
ReplyDeleteWAY TO GO you badass! Next thing you know, you'll be signed up for the Nike Women's in HILLY SF!
ReplyDeleteWeird... I watched The Darjeeling Limited today too. It was good, but not my favorite movie from all those guys. What did you think of Jason's stache?? ;)
ReplyDeleteNICE job on the hill work. I'll be doing my hill training monday for sure. I'm actually looking forward to it, and plan on doing something similar. Thanks for the positive remarks on your hill work.
ReplyDeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteGreat job on that hill!
ReplyDeleteNice job!! That is going to pay off when you run another race!
ReplyDeleteWay to conquer those hills!!
ReplyDeleteI also would totally make out with Jason Schwartzman and I started watching it last night as well. I didn't finish it though.... too tired.
ReplyDeleteGood job on running the hills! Woo hoo!
I have plans to run Back Bay next week, apparently my friends live right next to it.
We have NO hills around here - hence why I'd like a treadmill. Damn it.
ReplyDeleteI dig Jason too. Very cute.
Great job, you are soo back! Keeping us hanging on the work trip huh! Way to conquer those hills!
ReplyDeleteI'd just like to add my name to the list of those willing to make out with Jason Schwartzman.
