This Is Why I Smile

Happiness to me today is...
  • * A man with tools who keeps promises
  • * Eating ribs
  • * Waking up and having a great run

(PS: Arn't those cabinets the ugliest thing in the uni?)

That first one is partially why I married Jerry.

The cabinets aren't terrible, but if you hate them, there are some cheap fixes that don't involve replacing them. Paint and new hardware can make a WORLD of difference.

Good for you! A man of his word, with tools...priceless!

You should clarify: a man who has tools, knows how to use them and keeps promises :)

I echo the paint suggestion - cheap but a whole new look. (Actually that's my whole new look - cheap!)

yay for a man WITH tools and not a man who IS a tool. That is one of the nice things about the architect, too...handy!

The cabinets aren't ugly. They have good bones. You could sand them and aint them. Home Depot has a lot of cool paint treatments too.

When we remodeled our kitchen at our old house, I bought all of the knobs on ebay. So much cheaper than at Home Depot.

And Yay for a man who has and knows how to use tools!

Also Yayfor a great run!

Men with tools. And un-asked for help. What more does a girl need? (well, lots, but what a great start!)

Boys and manual labor are a pretty sight.

i think you should reveal the source of the man in that pic. men that are good with tools are the kind you keep around for a long long time. it implies a sense of caretaking and that he will always look out for you.

did i mention i'm good with tools? and i make some mean ribs. yum.

I'm glad (for your sake) that he has more than one "tool"..... those are the guys to stay away from! (err, the ones with only one tool, I mean... well, unless you are only interested in one thing!)
:)

He is starting to sound like a 'keeper'....

The cabinets definitely have potential... melamine paint and interesting handles can go a long way.
