Running = Good
Running hungover = Not Good
Running Hills = Excellent
Running Hills Hung Over = NOT Excellent
I typically run a straight out and back with no hills. Yeah, I'm lazy. Now I know WHY I don't run hills. They suck. I hate them. I am never doing them again. Especially never again after having 5 or 6 Vodka drinks last night. My running partner was literally running circles around me. I felt so crappy.
Check it out - Big G doesn't lie. And dead men tell no tales. And I sucked at running today.
6 Miles = 1:04
Calories = 655
HR = average 156; highest 180
Mile 1 = 9:59
Mile 2 = 10:00
Mile 3 = 10:53
Mile 4 = 11:32 (I think I walked for a minute on this hill)
Mile 5 = 10:57
Mile 6 = 11:07
Off to get a massage now! YIPPPPPYYYYYYYY

You think your hills are bad...wait to you see mine! As for walking them...a sure sign of an ultra runner!
Yeah for running and running hills!
An even bigger cheer for bringing a new scale into your life. I am afraid a new one will show how much chub I have really added.
I know, I know...Monday is weigh in...ick.
Looks like a gorgeous run!
And if that is a sucky run, than mine must be treacherous. ahha
yeah...after an open bar last night, I'm looking down the barrel of a hilly, hungover run myself. I feel your pain. At least, I MIGHT feel your pain.
I think the lesson learned is either stop the drinks or miles at one. Great that you even got out to run, that’s why a partner helps.
I would say that for running hungover AND a hilly route, your times are impressive! Seriously!
I'm feeling really jealous of the massage... it's been ages for me!
oh man...there goes my motivation to attempt hills!! good job though! I want a massage...and a big G...and an Anita...and new kicks....jealous jealous jealous! haha
I was going to say that those times look pretty darn good for all the booze consumed! ;)
Those times aren't so bad. Especially with hills. Which I totally avoid, BTW. I have to seek them out here in FL, so I don't put forth the effort.
6 miles is better than no miles! Keep that in mind chica! Even if they weren't perfect!
You'll probably hate me for saying this, but when I come to a hill, I try to "power up" it. My rationale? The faster I run up the hill, the sooner it's over.
But I'm not sure how well that would work while hungover...
Hills kill, but they do make you stronger.
Regarding Anita, the fat percent will change due to what it detects the water to be (which is obviously going to fluctuate some). I know, this isn't good for an obsessive type, but you really have to look at long term trend. I think the fat calipers method is more accurate, but either will show improvement if you make improvements! :D
I just entered a for really real challenge *gulp*. I'll update on my blog. The fat calipers versus my Anita were quite a bit different. I was actually quite a bit less with the calipers method of determining body fat.
