Book Tag

Because I am uber busy at work today (not), I thought I would participate in this fun little TAG from Judi at Miles & Madness. I just heart Judi - she is a serious athlete and I swear she will be an Iron(wo)man one day.

Here's the deal:
1.Find the book closest to you and turn to page 123
2.Locate the 5th sentence
3.Post in your blog the following three sentences
4.Then challenge five others to do the same

The book closest to me right now:

Chinese Business Etiquette by Scott D. Seligman
The use of public places for entertainment - both business and personal- is common practice among Chinese in Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan and other Asian countries. Foreigners are frequently invited out to restaurants by Chinese people. These can be very pleasant experiences, though they can sometimes end in a battle over who pays the check. (Splitting the bill is traditionally un-heard of....)

Anyone else bored today? I am really bad at picking people, so you can do it if you want to :)

Intersting and yet random book choice!! I'm actually headed to Hong Kong and Macao in the middle of July. I'm watching the clock today.

I am pretty sure in the fall when the little cherubs are all back in school I am going to try to do Bikram 2x a week. I totally expected to hate it but I LOVED it!! I can totally see getting in shape and losing weight with it! The more I think about it the more I want to keep doing it! I thought of you btw. I was like so this is what POM does. :>D

Is it bad that there aren't any "real" books in my office? I have a lot of legislative reports and the Governor's Budget but no real book in the room! Pretty pathetic. Especially for someone who likes to read!

That is a cool tag. I am going to pretend you did not tag me since the mag that came in the mail(closest thing to a book) may not be appropriate.

Chinesse? Next trip to China maybe??

No, my coworker went to China and this was the closest book. I'm still pulling to go to Thailand, but not looking so hot right now. Wah. It's more like Hola Cabo for me for the next few trips.

I went to do this, and quickly realized that there are NO books in my office - other than the phone book. Funny huh?

"By the time I got to my sister's, it was dark. I poured myself a scotch adn then, like always, Amy brought out a few things she thought I might find interesting. The first was a copy of The Joy of Sex, which she'd found at a flea market and planned to leave on the coffee table the next time our father visited."

From David Sedaris' new book: When You Are Engulfed In Flames

The book nearest to my office happened to be in the next room, on my bedside table. =)
