Looking at my training schedule for the next few months, there are a LOT of 10-milers. Today was the first. And lemme tell ya, this makes me one happy girl.
I love ten.
Ten is the new eight (I used to love eight).
Ten is the new black.
Ten is the new flip flop.
Ten is the new chocolate soy milk.
I was totally DORKED out in all my gear - Here are the results:
Mile 1: 8:51
Mile 2: 9:35
Mile 3: 9:53
Mile 4: 10:05 (hill)
Mile 5: 9:37
Mile 6: 9:41
Mile 7: 9:39
Mile 8: 9:09 (Had to pass some blond skinny beeotches)
Mile 9: 9:12 (Cute firemen)
Mile 10: 9:08
Total: 1:34: 50
I'm off to yoga again. Last nights class was so awesome, it was almost sexual. It's like a drug and I need me some more! I will be back to blog about it...
