Rants on Running, Relationships and Ridiculousness!
Oh, you're really talking about an oil change. Honestly, I was thinking of another kind of service. lol
my car recently went w/o an oil change for a year and a half (hangs head in shame) because the architect wouldn't take it in. I won, eventually, and my car is freshly oiled as of last week. (Also, I only drove about 5000 miles in that 1.5 years, so it wasn't like a HUGE deal. that's what I tell myself.)
that's why they have "service stations"
Yep, car problems make me wish I had a boyfriend. Feel the same way when things happen around the house that I have no idea how to fix. Or when I have the flu and wish I had a guy to run otu and get me some gatorade. Maybe all these years of being single will make us appreciate the support system when we actually have boyfriends!
Oy... oil changes. I hate dealing with those dang men at the service stations. I feel like they try to take advantage of me. I just play the roll of a huge bitch and don't sound unsure of myself one bit. They get the point and do just what I ask! lol
I am the exact same way. I don't know why. I can much more easily change the damn door lock than I can take my car in for an oil change, or yearly inspection (both of which I'm supposed to do this week). Those are typically Mr F's jobs. I'm really dreading it.
Hmmm. Sometimes that's an emission sensor that's gone bad. Uh. Probably just the oil.
I totally understand that! But I am loving that we have the same car -- and it is awesome how it tells you exactly what it needs, right?
you always know the right thing to say!............................................................
