God Throws a Bone

I'm pretty sure you don't come to this blog for any type of spiritual enlightenment. Don't worry, you won't get any of that here today.

But I do have to share this. It probably won't even make sense.

Have you ever struggled and struggled with something that causes you so much pain for a long time? The pain doesn't seem to go away, but maybe even gets worse? That lump constantly in your throat or the pit at the bottom of your stomach?

Then all of a sudden, God throws you a bone.

And everything is clear.
Just let it go.
Can it really be that easy?

It is that easy.
And you feel lighter.
Thank you God.

Told you it wouldn't make sense. But it does to me today.

I had that with my ex-fiance. It wasn't until I saw him tossing wings at a Hooters that I finally felt relief that my life was better without. God has his funny remedies to the common ails. This one just happened to come with a side of teriyaki.

Glad the proverbial anvil is off your chest.

Can you ask him to toss me one too?

I know what you mean P.O.M. It can really be that easy, the hard part is waiting for it to happen. Glad you are feeling lighter!

It makes complete sense, especially to those of us who've had similar experiences. Glad things seem to be peaceful for you at the moment!

And your bikini pics are pure inspiration! You look amazing.

Sending more good vibes your way!

I'm glad you got the bone. Could you tell him I need a club-sized one? I mean really big. Thanks.

You said it...Let it go. Short, sweet and directly to the point. Hope it works.

Congrats gorgeous!

Sounds like the song of the day should be 'Lately' by The Helio Sequence (a lush, gorgeous song about getting over it... perhaps your May anthem?)

I'm with Glam. Um. Could you look any hotter in a 2-piece? (rhetorical question)

Yup. I know exactly what you mean. I'm so glad you've found some relief. :)

Vague...insightful but vague. Will we be getting details?

I think he waits to toss it when we stop looking for it. We appreciate it more then, I think.

Enjoy! :)

I know exactly what you mean. It's kinda like in the movie "You've got mail" where Tom Hanks girlfriend is mean to someone, and suddenly the light comes on and he's like "you're outta here". And boom - it's over.

Yeah, I understand.

This is sort of how I feel about the whole wedding fiasco and attempting to plan a second redo wedding... some days I get a bone and I can handle it all better.

God recently tossed me a bone, too. It was like He said, "You know what? You've been working too hard to put up with this. And you've even been going to church, for crying out loud!"
