Product Whore...strikes again

I am a self proclaimed "PRODUCT WHORE." Basically, I love to try new products and even though I may really like them, even LOVE them, I will always be looking for the next best thing. And I will drop a product in a heart beat if something else comes along. I might go back, but I'm fickle and just cannot commit to one brand, nor do I think any woman ever should. There are just too many options out there. And if there's something that makes you excited to go home and wash your face or try a new anti-aging thing-a-ma-jigger, I say "Go for it!

Lemme tell ya: I have a new crush. I always buy "extra gifts" at Christmas just in case someone gets me something I didn't get them anything. Ya know what I mean - we all do it. I grabbed a couple extra "Travel Sets" from Philosophy. I had an extra one after the gift giving came and went. I threw it in my travel case and forgot about it until I got here in Hawaii!

I LOVE this stuff. I'll give you the run down:

Purity Face Cleanser: This stuff is light and smells so good - but it gets all your make up off including mascara.

Hope in a Jar: This is the moisturizer. It's also light, but heavy enough that my flaky skin doesn't show thru my make up.

Hope in a Tube: Eye and lip cream - very moisturizing. I just get so excited about extra stuff.

The shampoo and conditioner are "Grace." They smell amazing and my hair is silky and soft. I also have the "Grace" lotion. LOVE IT. Oh, and the lip balm is incredible. It has a very light tint and doesn't get all sticky or gooey.

Each product has a fun quote or saying on the jar/tube. For example, on the moisturizer it says:

" Where there is hope there can be faith. Where there is faith miracles can
occur."

Ahhhhhhh - now how can you not LOVE that? Even if it is short-lived...

Last... This pic is for Marcy.

#4 reason why I love hotels:

THE BATHROOM!

Don't pay any attention to the copious amounts of products on the counter or the sweaty running clothes hanging over the bath!

Geez. That bathroom looks bigger then mine. I know exactly what you are going through - I'm an electronic junkie myself. I have every Garmin ever made (except the new 405 - don't worry, I'll get it), plus many of the other gadget watches, ipods galore, and other junk that I simply don't need.

ROFLMAO! HAHAHHAHAAAAAA It's always so nice when people think of me while in the bathroom. (Or disturbing LOL)

I'm similar with products but not so bad nowadays since come on . . . I live in my sweatpants and t-shirts all day LOL.

Always nice to discover a gift to yourself that you weren't expecting. I've heard great things about that product line. I may just have to try it.

I just got a Philosophy travel kit from my friend. I just used it for the first time yesterday and I LOVE the stuff. What a great gift to yourself.

PS I'm flaky too. :P

That is what the bathroom counter looks when I travel. I always decide to try some new face regimin when traveling, so I end up packing a suitcase of tolietries.
LOL, at the extra in case gifts, me too, and I am always sure it is something I would enjoy as well :)

Have you tried the Philosphy scrub? It is like a 2 step scub, it leaves your face feeling brand new.

Soon Marcy's name will be synonmous with bathrooms!

I'll have to check out the recommended products -- I'm always interested in new stuff!

I'm really glad you posted about this, I'm one that bores rather easily when it comes to scents but I like to coordinate. I like having a shampoo that complements my body wash that doesn't clash with my lotion. It's just one of those anal retentive things that I love to do. When I get sick of a scent, I have a tendancy to not wear anything, which is where I'm at now. Anyways, thanks loads and safe travels!

Although I am technically a lip-gloss-whore, I'm never one to pass up a new product. My latest faves are L'Occitane's Almond Apple Velvet Concentrate (so yummy and silky) and Estee Lauder's CP+ serum. The stuff is amazing - makes your skin so soft, it's insane.

I've looked at Philosphy's stuff a lot (cute packaging), but never bought. I definitely think I'll have to check out the Grace lip balm! ;)

Glad you're having fun! Cute pic of you and the captain!

That sounds like the perfect gift to self while on business trip to Hawaii. :)

What a GREAT idea! I intend to buy a few extra gifts like that next year - I ALWAYS wind up receiving a few unexpected gifts and wish I had something to give in return. Brilliant!

I'm a total Hope in a Jar gal!
LOVE the stuff... but in the winter, due to the dry air, I prefer to use L'Occitane moisturizers - crazy thick.

Glad you're having fun in Hawaii. I can't believe how much stuff you have in the bathroom!

Sounds interesting. I've become more of a product whore lately, and just took a trip to Ulta today to pick up some new powder, lip gloss, etc.

I'll have to try some of that out.
