Sundays Nothings

Just rambling...

Did Bikram twice this weekend. (I swear this is why the recent weight loss.)

Ran a total of 13 miles (Fri & Sun).

The scale still said 131 this morning even after a pizza and beer binge last night, so I'm officially changing it on my side bar. SWWWEEEETTTTT.

Is it bad to not go on a 4th date with a guy because he didn't open the car door for me on the 3rd date? It really bugged me for some reason.

I know I haven't done any songs of the day lately. This is because music hasn't been very inspiring to me lately. But on my run today, I played this song 3 times in a row! You know how I love me some cheesy remixes!

Song of the Day: Say Yeah by Wiz Khalifa

WHOOOOOO HOOOOO on the weight digits, my dear! That is AWESOME!!

Hmmmmm don't know about the dude thing. I've always been an "I'll get the car door my damn self" kinda chica BUT the actual door (house/building) opening thing is a HUGE thing for me soooo I'll just equate it to that and say "It's NOT bad" because I'd probably do the same thing :-) But never take any dating advice from me because I've been outta the game so long LOL.

Wow, looking at that comment I'd say I was a big help :P

I'm with Marcy on the house door v car door deal. If you're annoyed at him for the car door, maybe you're not into him otherwise? But, I suck at dating. I'm considering not seeing a guy again because he hasn't kissed me by the 4th date!

You know, my current BF (four years strong) kept trying to open my door the first, second and third date...and I never really caught on to what he was trying to do (duh!) until he was like, "Can you please let me open your door?"

So I'd say, unless you have a crazy good feeling about him...wait for the guy who wants to do it, and gets mad if you don't let him! : )

Congrats on the Bikram & weight loss. Yesterday running we were talking about how hot it was & we were doing Bikram running. The 2 times I attempted Bikram yoga I came close to puking & sat down during most of the class. Way to make it through 2 in a weekend!

On the guy thing, I'm thinking your not really that into him if one mistake on his part bugs you. Definately don't keep going out with him if he's annoying you.

On a different topic, I have a favorite pair of shoes with a small buckle on the side that I don't like, but I love the shoes aside from that. They're comfortable and I get a lot of compliments on them.

Yahoo on the weight! I wish I was there. I also love Bikram. I don't have a place close enough to be able to take it. :(

It is absolutely ok not to go on a fourth date with the no door opener. I've been married for 12 years, and he still opens the door for me. It's one of the things I love about him. He treats me the same now as he did when we met 14 years ago. (He's a really good pair of shoes. You'll find yours. I was just fortunate enough to go to the right store at the right time.)

Congrats on the weight! That is so fabulous!

On the car door, it is as big a tell tale as what type of shoes they wear. They can change everything else about themselves, but those two things tell you the truth.

After 16 years of marriage, my hubby still opens the car door.

If anything bothers me by the 3rd date I just go off radar for a few weeks. If I have a twinge to call him in 2 weeks - and he still cares enough to want to have another go - there must be more redeeming factors of his personality than what was bothering me so I go for it.

But, I'm out of practice too :-)

Rock star! Nice job on the weight loss!!

I have a feeling that you're having mixed feelings about this dude and there's nothing you can really pinpoint...except the car door thing. I say go with your gut.

Oh come on...

It's 2008. A woman is fully capable of opening the damn car door herself. I'll fight over me taking the check for dinner and a few other things, but the car door...

Way to stick it out at 131 even after pizza. Soon you'll be teaching the yoga classes, well done.

On the guy thing. If you are really into someone than you are able to look past some of their faults or annoyances, if you're not into them these things just get on your nerves. Sometimes guys don't think about opening a car door anymore or had past girlfriends who cared. Hope he opens building doors though.

Lots of things can be overlooked if the dude is awesome enough, but if he's not, the door thing is probably a dealbreaker.

Congrats on the digits!

Way to go on the Weight Loss! Woo!

Oh, and I figure it's your choice who you want to date. What difference does it make what the reason is? If you don't want to go out with him again, don't.

Obviously, I'm single. And picky.

congrats on the number!!!! that is awesome! you are doing so great.

i also say go with your gut... if something like that is going to bug you about him, then its probably not going to be the only thing. i love it on the days when hub remembers to open the door for me :) its not all the time, but the times he does i LOVE it and are that much better.

Good job on the weight loss and the miles! And the Bikram too. Which I still haven't gotten around to trying.

I'm guessing he did on the first and second right? If he stopped on the 3rd, and really for no reason like was there oncoming traffic ... wait thats not even a good reason...well, I guess I would go ONE more and then if he didnt do the door thing again, then no. Tells me he did it the 1st and 2nd date cause well..it was the 1st and 2nd date.

After a year of dating my GID he STILL opens every single door for me. And gets mad if I forget and start to open one on my own.

I am a big getting the door myself you shovinist pig kinda chick. Just base it on more then the door.

great news on the 131 sticking around so well. I think the 134 standard is gone for good :-)
