Just came across your blog and love it! Totally love your Jeopardy, I can relate to digging out your favorite gear from the dirty laundry, for me it's all about $65 sports bra! I have to get another one...SOON! Have a great day!

I have to confess - I too have the brooks elements and would prefer running in them than any other shorts. And I've worn them two days or so in a row....sad to say!

I wish I could be there to see you take out your invisalign whenever you drink wine. That, my lady, is what made me decide to get braces ofr a year versus invisalign. Also, what is your fartlek workout? I'd like to mimic it as it seems we're around the same pace. Thanks!

My mom, at 62 has decided to get Invisalign too! I'm intrigued!

Congrats on your fast farts!

Oooh, I am very intrigued by Invisalign. I hope to see posts about these puppies!

That was funny. Sounds like you need to trade all your other shorts in for more brooks

I just finished Invisalign. Such a difference and so worth it. Really. I get my final retainers tomorrow.

Bonus: you can get whitening gel from your dentist to put in the trays so you can bleach your teeth. I was whole-hog crazy before the wedding. Ok, maybe I still am, but you know what I mean. Even more so then...

Ps On a few occasions, I drank white wine with Invisalign trays in. And swished with water afterwards.

Great job on the fartleks.

I TOTALLY wished they had Invisalign when I was growing up. Ahhhhh the memories of having a mouth full of metal LOL

You are supa fast!

Glad you like the Vomero 3's. I just realized (after killing my foot and ankle) that I need new shoes. I have the Vomero 2's right now and will have to try the 3's.

I am getting Invisalign next month!

Oh ya, I meant to add that I don't really do the hamper thing anymore. I'm so addicted to my fav gear that I just shower with it on then let it drip dry after every run.

Wow detergent actually does work up a good lather.

Haha, this is my second round of braces too!

oooh braces - i am so happy i had them as a teen!

I've done that pulling dirty clothes out of the hamper before too...
:)
It's all about the gear.

Great job on the run!

I echo an above comment--those be some fast farts. I'm uber jealous!

I know how it is to find something that you love and works for you! I am the same with with my running shorts. I have three of the same kind (differnt colors) and want to buy more but keep telling myself I can alternate between the two! hehehe.

Nice Fartlek! hehe.

Sports bra was my first choice for question 1. Guess I would have been eliminated right away. I have my favorite items that I can't live without too. They make working out even more worth it.

This was fun! If the Borrks shorts are THAT good, I might have to get myself a pair.. Good luck with the invisalign!

That's so funny - I'm thinking about getting Invisalign as well! No rush at the moment, maybe next year when I set up my Flexible Spending account at work.

I just bought the new Vomero 3's as well... I ran in the Vomero 2's last season and they worked well.

And awesome job on the fartleks!!!

That is hella fast! You are getting so fast on me. I feel like I don't even know your splits anymore. We may need to talk. ;-)

That is so true about good running clothes!

You've convinced me on the Women's Brooks Element Shorts. Now I NEED a pair. I'm going to order them online.. can you tell me how the sizes run? A little big, a little small? I can't wait! I hope they get me out of bed in the morning! :)

I just found your blog from Maddy's blog roll list. I follow many of the running podcasts and blogs. I loved this post! My running shoes are by far the most expensive pair I own. I read back through some of your other posts and really admire your life transformation. I have to ask though, being from CA myself and now living in the dreary, always rainy Portland, why are you running a marathon here? My husband and I just ran the SD Rock n Roll Marathon and we decided we're always going to run our marathons in warm, sunny weather??!! I will definitely be following your blog!
