Miss Anita the Tanita told me I am stuck at 138. I am bummed because I really kicked ass this weekend in workouts (10 mile run and an a hour on the Elliptical Machine yesterday) and my food was really good this weekend - no booze, tons of veggies, no crap. I was really hoping to see a drop at least a lb or 2. I guess last weeks chocolate pandemonium is to blame. (Note to all readers: If you eat a candy bar a day, you will not lose weight.)
A good piece of news is that my body fat dropped a little - down to 26%.
My goal was to weigh 135 by my race next weekend. I am not going to cut my calories drastically this week because I need the energy for my race. So I will shoot for 135 for Hawaii - Feb 12th. Crap - still need to think about getting a new bathing suit. WAHHHHHHHHHHH

you can find bathing suits at target right now, right next to some mittens and umbrellas. at least near mine. haha.
i wish I had a scale that measured body fat. I want anita! hahah.
Don't even get me started on bathing suit season. I'm not even going there LOL
It's always bathing suit season in Hawaii so if you can't find one before you leave, just get one there. Good luck on your race!
You are doing really great on your weightloss! I know you are still looking for 3 more pounds, but 138 is a pretty sweet number :)

By the way, maintaining weight but losing body fat implies that you're gaining muscle, which is always good.
I truly believe it takes a few days for things to show on the scale. And I think after my long runs I retain a little water for a day or so in my muscles, I've heard others say this too...so things are going to look better on the scale!
Sometimes the body is on freak out mode. You will be to your goal for Hawaii 4 sho! You are still doing wonderful! That is so awesome that your scale gives you a body fat %, even though I am glad mine does not at this point.
You'll reach your goal, just stay postive, eat healthy and keep up with your work outs! Your doing great!

It could still drop fast, if you're holding onto any water. Just keep doing what you're doing--it will come off. You have really made a lot of progress in a short time! Good luck finding a cute suit.
You'll get there. If your body fat went down it's probably because of new muscle mass which would explain no weight loss.
But you know that...
Dood, I havn't bought a new bathing suit sinc my honeymoon FIVE years ago. Just can't bring myself to do it.
it's all good, dropping body fat I think is more important that seeing the numbers on the scale move downward...
